Oh as well as having Lukas as our preview for Sunday we also have his Helping Hand today. This is a very good shoot indeed. Lukas didn’t know what hit him. This was a perfect opportunity to revert to the old style Helping Hands. In the studio were TC and a graduate of one of our workshops. I asked them to go after Lukas, and Lukas took it like a man. Both TC and the former student are gone now. I’m certainly willing to entertain applications for ‘Helping Hands’ collaborators. If serious, you should write me at bill@wh.cz. The Workshop graduate made an excellent suggestion. To maintain the fantasy, it’s very important not to see the face connected with the Helping Hand. Cropping out the faces is even more difficult now that we use HD cameras with a wide (envelope format). He suggested we do future Helping Hands on single beds. That was the Helper can more easily duck down on the side of the bed. Gosh, why didn’t I think of that. I told the guys I was surprised how easy it was to do Helping Hands with the new wide screen cameras. I thought it would be much more difficult, but it wasn’t. Meanwhile, Lukas was great. Today, I suggested him as a candidate for one of our new style Duty Bounds. That will certainly test his mettle. It must be said, I do enjoy watching the old format Helping Hands. I also appreciate being behind the camera. While the Helpers were with us, we did three of these Helping Hands. Two of them turned out fine, this being one of them. But with one of them, the model flinched as soon as he was touched. He promptly got up, put his cloths on and ran away, never to be seen again around these parts. Hence, you can be sure the Helping Hands are completely unrehearsed and unscripted. Kudos for this one.
